- Assist with snow removal, ice control, storm response, road closures, and other Public Works needs.

- Work as part of the Streets crew to safely and efficiently complete projects throughout the City.

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid Idaho Driver’s License.
- Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within six months of hire if approved by the City.
- Flagging certification, or ability to obtain within the City-approved timeframe.
Pay & Schedule
Starting at $24.40+/hour, depending on experience. Experienced operators may start higher based on qualifications.
During snow-removal on-call duties, typically beginning around Thanksgiving, the minimum rate for that work increases to $27.76/hour.
Typical schedule is four 10-hour days, with additional on-call and non-standard hours during snow events and emergencies.
Benefits
Full City benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, PERSI retirement, paid holidays and PTO, wellness benefits, and housing assistance for qualifying employees.
Bring your experience to a job where you can see the difference you make. Apply today to join the City of Hailey Streets Division.
One caveat: the job description you uploaded is explicitly written as a Lead Equipment Operator/Maintenance position and contains quite a few lead-worker responsibilities.
